KITE SURF LESSONS TARIFA ::

The kitesurfing initiation course is given by a qualified instructor in kitesurfing and sail sports.
Progress is rapid in the safety aspects of the sport, for you or those nearby, and of the techniques involved.
  While learning kitesurfing many problems and dangers can arise, but these can mostly be anticipated and minimized by the experienced instructor. Our FAV qualified instructors have been teaching and kitesurfing non-stop for 9 years, and many many kiters have been taught by our instructors without any safety troubles.
 Courses in English, Spanish, French and Portuguese.

TASTER COURSE

For those who are not really sure that the thrills of kitesurfing lessons are for them, we offer a 2-hour baptism kitesurfing course to help them get a clear picture of the sport and to decide to participate or not.

BASIC COURSE   

The basic 2-day kitesurfing course lasts 3 or 4 hours per day. If the wind conditions don`t allow the kitesurfing course to finish in two days, then it is postponed for a third day, although there is normally no lack of wind in Tarifa.
 

1st DAY                                                                           

On the first day of the kitesurfing lessons there is the very important theorical part of safety, the window of flight, etc...

  The practical part starts on the beach using an initiation kite in wich you learn the force of the kite in different window positions and its behavior under various wind velocities. In addition you learn the procedures to raise, lower, land and release the kite, traction exercises, handling the equipment and hooking into the harness, etc...                                                                

2nd DAY

 On the second day of your kitesurfing lessons you go into the water to practice, bodydrag, learn to control the kite and displacement in the water without the board.
  This technique enables you to recover the board if you fall in the water, to slide correctly on the water in the desired direction, positioning the kite correctly.
  Once you have mastered this technique you can begin to practice the waterstart, wich means getting on the board in the water.  These exercises will complete the second day.

ADVANCED COURSE

  For those who have completed the basic kitesurfing course and wish to take a more advanced course, the conditions are similar to the basic course, and we will focus on the part in wich you had the most difficulty.

PRIVATE KITESURFING LESSONS                                                                         
 
  For those who have completed the basic kitesurfing course and wish to take a more advanced course, the conditions are similar to the basic course, and we will focus on the part in wich you had the most difficulty. For the most demanding students there are individual classes with the instructor. This is a much more rapid method, in wich the student is constantly practising and receiving instructions.
  Kitesurfing lessons are given every day of the week, but it should not be forgotten that this a sport that principally depends on the wind and meteorological conditions so that the classes can take place.

REGARDLESS OF AGE

Age is not an issue, nor physical strenght, classes can be given to people of all ages including children as young as 8 years old.
You don`t need to bring any equipment, all the material will be supplied by the club.
  The only thing we recommend is to bring sun cream, a bottle of water, a hat and sun glasses.
